Matching activities consist of one or more pairs of matching item elements, a check answer button, and a feedback element. Matching items are divided into two groups, group A and group B, and lines can only be linked between items of opposing groups. Items are paired by pressing on an item from one group, dragging and releasing the mouse over an item of the opposite group. A pair is considered as correct when both items share the same <Item Index>.
To insert a matching activity, use Interactions > Matching. The matching activity can be inserted in its default design, for full customization, or as an interactive set.
To add a pair of matching items, use Matching > Add Pair.
Dummy items are ones that have an <Item Index> of -1. Matching such items leads to a score penalty. To add a pair of dummy items, use Matching > Add Dummy Pair.
