Inviting a user for review gives them access to view the course, go over it, and add review notes as necessary. Once a reviewer is invited, they will receive an email detailing the review with a link to access the course via the review dashboard. Existing review invites can be managed via Manage Review.
Adding a review
When the project has views or translations, the first step is to choose the relevant combination to be reviewed. In addition to reviewing existing views, custom views can be used to limit the review to a specific part of the course, and prevent the reviewer from having access to other unwanted parts.
Assigning reviewers
One or more users can be assigned to review the course from the list of existing users. Users of any role can be assigned for review, regardless of their role, as long as they have access to the project. Each review invitation for each user can then be managed separately using Manage Review.
New reviewer
In case the person required for review is not already a Composica user, new reviewers can be easily added using the New Reviewer link, by simply providing their email address. The first time a new reviewer accesses the review dashboard, they will be asked to activate their account, and become a Composica user.
Review guidelines
Optionally, guidelines can be provided along with the review invite. The guidelines are sent with the invitation email, and are also displayed in the review dashboard under the relevant review. The guidelines can be used to provide instructions for the reviewer, or any other message the developer wishes to include with the invitation. The review guidelines can always be edited later, via Manage Review.
