A scenario comprises one or more scenes. A scene can contain any content, including rich content and any other element. When designing the document, editing the content of the scenario element edits the active scene.
To activate a scene, select it in the scenario tree and either double-click it; right-click it and choose Edit Scene; or use the handle. Additionally, when a scene link is selected, the
handle can be used to activate its target scene.
To add a sub-scene to the current scene, use Scenario > Add Sub-Scene, or right-click a scene in the scenario tree and choose Add Sub-Scene. To remove the current scene, use Scenario > Remove Scene, or right-click a scene in the scenario tree and choose Remove Scene.
The properties of a scene can be edited either when the scene is active, or when the scene is selected in the scenario tree.
Scene |
||
Name | Text | The name of the scene, used to identify the scene while designing the document, and displayed as the value for scene name variables. Clearing the name reverts it to its default value. |
Result | Select | Determines the outcome of the scenario. When unchanged, the scene doesn’t affect the outcome of the scenario. When either successful or unsuccessful, the scenario is considered as complete when the scene is visited, and it is scored accordingly. |
Narration | Media | An audio file containing narration to be played when the scene is visited. |
Narration Volume | Number | Determines the volume of the narration, with 100 being full volume, and 0 being muted. |
Tree Node |
||
Color | Color | The color to use for the scene’s node in the scenario tree, or transparent to use the default color. Only available when selecting a scene in the tree. |
The scenario master is always displayed behind the active scene in the background of the scenario, and can contain content which is common to all scenes, such as design elements, common navigation links, or any other content. To edit the scenario master, use the Scenario Master button in the top-left corner of the scenario tree.
